Whatever Happened to the Remnant?

back in the 50's, when i was just a skinny kid, my father became po of a new congregation.

he'd only been baptised for around 4 years, so his rise was quite remarkable.just one of his flock in the new cachement area was of the "remnant".

this lady was well into her 60's, childless but married.

when i first joined this site 5 years ago there was a regular contributor who claimed to be of the annointed--even though she had left the cult. go figure. i wonder if she still reads these threads.

over the last few years since i joined this site--and the wonderful world of ex jws--ive come across a fair number of females who have escaped the cult. A high number of them have all manner of illnesses--both physical and mental----that i had never heard of before. coincidence =-or what ?

i just found this website and im so glad because for the first time in a long time i dont feel alone...i am a born in and in the last two years have been struggling because i thought that i was the problem and i was the reason for not feeling any love from and for the other pubs .i want to leave the org but have no idea how to tell my mother(who is a faithful jw).

i think--if truth be told--most born in kids learn to hate the cult----and only go along with it out of economic necessity. the majority leave sooner or later.

Yet more trolley (in)activity

i am currently having to spend a little time waiting for an appointment in the vicinity of a central london station.

whilst waiting i am catching up on some work in a cafe.

i can see a couple of trolleys and have been watching them for around an hour now.. not one person has stopped to take literature.

i mis-read the name first time i saw it-----land Rover baptist. obviously a humerous scam---or is it ?

surely not another cult-in-a-can from the land of the free / coke/ macdonalds / KFC etc.

in my village the kult kart is on display in the main shopping street several days a week. recently i noticed a somewhat amorphous lump standing guard over it--and she looked familiair---i slowly realised its my ex wife !! not seen her for years .

then--just last week--an altogether prettier young lady was in attendance--who also looked vaguely familiar--i think it was one of my grandaughters -----but i thought better than just walking up to her--i was carrying a large bottle of cheap cider at the time-----just didnt look good.

Kingdom Consolidation and Sales are coming – Reliable Source

i heard form a reliable source that a kingdom hall consolidation is going to be happening in the us.

currently they are looking at every kingdom hall to see if they could and should sell it.

any kingdom hall that has not been updated and is in a bad location (long driveway, not in a visible location etc...) will be sold.
